First sessions vary, but they are pragmatic and hands-on after a few initial sessions that might emphasize more rapport building and deep listening paired with a more typical focus on specific actions to learn your approach to task initiation, time-management, sustaining focus, etc. We learn about you, with you (no two folks even with the same diagnosis are the same).

For our nation-wide client base, we offer digital sessions to support you with the transitions, challenges, or changes you’re experiencing that have forced you to hit your absolute limit. We call this space your growing edge, and our team uses a strengths-based lens to tap into the skills you already have to scaffold your next steps with you.

Individual clients work directly with our team of experienced advisors to help drive you toward your goals. Chelsey, Anna, or one of our lead advisors will work with you for an immediate assessment, in-depth observation of your current habits and routines, and tailored plan of skills and strategies to elevate your focus, productivity, and growth.

Each advisor has his/her/their own style, but we generally pay attention to your meaning-making or mental modeling in the first session to identify the best next steps that are both developmentally appropriate (meaning challenging and supportive) and highest priority. When we match-make you with an advisor, goodness of fit is most important - more than anything - and we base that on a 15-20 minute intake call.

Yes, our rhythm is 50 minutes weekly for four-six months on average. After one to two months, and based on your relationship with the advisor, you may collaboratively alter sessions. Based on over two decades of doing this work, we do not recommend biweekly for meaningful progress and some advisors may recommend a two times per week cadence for the first month or so. We consider your graduation our highest achievement as our goal is for you to internalize the strategies.

Yes, we text and create a joint document or email follow-up after every session. Texting is more than appropriate during business hours and based on defined boundaries with your advisor. We do find texting an important aspect for both logistics and quick check-ins. Anything longer tends to warrant a session.

For individual advisement, advisors sets their own rates and will slide their scale based on need and the honor system. Generally, fees range from $250 - $750 per session.

We do not accept insurance. For alternative options, we recommend searching for more advisors/coaches here.
Note: Because we are not practicing as therapists, we cannot bill to insurance. Therapists have liability insurance, keep specialized notes on patients/clients, and are legally responsible for the psychological well-being of patients/clients.
